Introducing the Religious Education Office

Posted August 3, 2017

The parish will run a monthly blog to introduce to the parish community those that work in and around the parish, their office, and their mission.  We begin with the Religious Education (RE) Office.

The Mission of the RE Office is to:

  1. Support parents by teaching the truths of the Catholic Faith, with an emphasis on providing children with both the content and context to understand that content.
  2. Inspire in each child a personal relationship with God and an awareness of His Merciful Love for each human being from conception to natural death.
  3. Build character through faithful witness to the morals and the mission in the practice of the Catholic Faith and teaching about the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Joseph and the lives of the saints.

While our primary focus is on the Religious Formation of Youth, the RE Office is also seeking new and better means of aiding parents and adult parishioners in their own spiritual journeys as well.

Our Calendar of Events for the 2017-18 school year is available at the following link – https://sainttheresaparish.com/wp-content/uploads/2017-2018-calendar-1.pdf

We are located in the Administrative Building across from the front entrance to the Church.  Once inside, we are directly across the hall from the Parish Offices on the right.
