Fr. Hudgins would like to offer all parishioners the opportunity to prepare and partake of two important spiritual events after all Masses on August 16:
Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary and formal investiture in the Brown Scapular
Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary
Preparation will begin July 13th using Fr. Gaitley’s 33 Days to Morning Glory. Look for the Legion of Mary table in the Narthex on July 5 & July 12 to receive a pdf copy of the book or email Maria Basu at maria_basu@yahoo.com. For those who have done the Consecration before, it is an opportunity to renew.
Brown Scapular Enrollment
A Brown Scapular enrollment will take place on August 16th after all Masses. It is a garment of grace with many promises attached and a beautiful sign of one’s commitment to Jesus and His Mother. Scapulars will be made available in the narthex. If you have previously been formally enrolled, re enrollment is not necessary.
